The introduction of Pod Ceal DC™ to Canada is timely for several reasons. Because of the extra value of canola crops today, growers can now expect to gross close to $400.00 per acre on canola! Straight cutting has been proven to increase yield as long as growers can manage the seed shatter.

Oil content is the last thing to develop in a canola plant and straight cutting the Canola will result in higher oil content. Some canola purchasers are now starting to pay for oil. By increasing the oil through straight cutting, in addition to implementing the right genetics can be key to higher oil yields.
